Slivery Lupine

This purple painting is from a catching shadow exploration I adventure into frequently.  Slivery lupine is the shadow that is captured in this painting on stretched canvas. The plant's location is from the northern Sierra mountain range at Pinecrest lake, CA. in the summer of 2023. This is a very thick and juicy painting!!  Lots of gesso went down on the canvas 1st before the painting was introduced to the canvas.  The buyer of this painting will received a bonus color story that outlines the colors I used to paint this painting.  We alway love a bonus don't we!
